💰 Salary / Pay Scale
- Security Officer: Pay Level-7 ₹44,900 – ₹1,42,400. Advertisement में Chandigarh पर लगभग कुल मासिक emoluments ₹93,758/- बताए गए हैं।
- Receptionist: Pay Level-6 ₹35,400 – ₹1,12,400. लगभग कुल मासिक emoluments ₹74,530/-।

🎓 Educational Qualification & Eligibility
1. Security Officer
Security Officer पद के लिए Ex-Servicemen JCO (Subedar या उससे उच्च rank) अथवा अन्य Paramilitary Forces में equivalent rank के उम्मीदवारों के पास security में न्यूनतम 10 वर्ष का अनुभव होना चाहिए। Short Service Commissioned Officers तथा CRPF/BSF/ITBP आदि में Assistant Commandant के पद पर कार्यरत उम्मीदवारों के लिए विज्ञापन में 5 वर्ष के अनुभव की शर्त दी गई है। Paramilitary Forces के Inspector के लिए 10 वर्ष का अनुभव निर्धारित है।
इस पद के लिए अधिकतम आयु सीमा 35 वर्ष है। Security Officer के लिए physical तथा personality assessment test qualifying nature का होगा। इसमें सफल उम्मीदवारों को written examination के लिए बुलाया जाएगा और final merit competitive written examination के प्रदर्शन के आधार पर तैयार की जाएगी।
2. Receptionist
Receptionist पद के लिए उम्मीदवार के पास Graduation तथा Government/Autonomous Body/Public Undertaking में Receptionist के रूप में 2 वर्ष का relevant experience होना चाहिए। इस पद के लिए अधिकतम आयु सीमा 28 वर्ष है।
Receptionist पद के लिए selection procedure में Personality Assessment Test शामिल है। चयनित उम्मीदवार को CSIR-CSIO में front office reception, visitors को attend करना, telephone calls का उत्तर देना तथा संगठन की R&D activities से संबंधित inquiries को handle करने जैसी जिम्मेदारियां निभानी होंगी।
3. Driver
Driver पद के लिए उम्मीदवार के पास LMV एवं HMV का valid driving licence, motor mechanism की जानकारी तथा motor car चलाने का कम से कम 3 वर्ष का अनुभव होना चाहिए। उम्मीदवार का 10वीं कक्षा पास होना भी आवश्यक है।
Driver पद के लिए अधिकतम आयु सीमा 27 वर्ष है। चयन प्रक्रिया में skill test और उसके बाद written examination शामिल है। अंतिम merit competitive written examination के प्रदर्शन के आधार पर तैयार की जाएगी।
🏃 Security Officer Physical Standards
Security Officer पद के लिए विज्ञापन में निर्धारित physical standards को पूरा करना आवश्यक है। सामान्य उम्मीदवारों के लिए पुरुषों की minimum height 167 cm तथा महिलाओं की 157 cm निर्धारित है। Hill Area candidates के लिए क्रमशः 165 cm और 155 cm तथा ST candidates के लिए 162.5 cm और 154 cm का प्रावधान है।
Male candidates के लिए general category में chest measurement 80 cm unexpanded और 85 cm expanded निर्धारित है। Hill Area candidates के लिए भी 80/85 cm तथा ST candidates के लिए 77/82 cm का प्रावधान दिया गया है।
Physical events में पुरुष उम्मीदवारों के लिए 1600 metre running 6 मिनट 30 सेकंड, long jump 3.65 metre in 3 chances, minimum 6 chin-ups, minimum 12 push-ups और minimum 10 sit-ups शामिल हैं। महिला उम्मीदवारों के लिए 2.70 metre long jump in 3 chances, 800 metre running 4 मिनट तथा minimum 10 sit-ups निर्धारित हैं।
📝 Selection Process
- Security Officer: Physical & Personality Assessment Test → Written Examination → Final Merit.
- Receptionist: Personality Assessment Test.
- Driver: Skill Test → Written Examination → Final Merit.
Security Officer written examination में Paper-I और Paper-II होंगे। Paper-I में Mental Ability and Personality Assessment Test के 100 questions होंगे और इसके लिए 90 minutes दिए जाएंगे। Paper-I में negative marking नहीं होगी। Paper-II में Comprehension, Report Writing, Security Regulations/Firefighting तथा General Awareness शामिल हैं।
Driver written examination में General Intelligence, Quantitative Aptitude, General Awareness और English Language से प्रश्न होंगे। प्रत्येक section में 25 questions होंगे। कुल 100 questions के लिए 90 minutes का समय होगा और प्रत्येक गलत उत्तर पर one negative mark का प्रावधान है। परीक्षा का standard Class X है।
