Stage 1 – Scrutiny and Shortlisting

Stage 2 – Objective Written Examination

There will be one mark for every correct answer and 0.25 mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer. The level of questions will be equivalent to Matriculation. The question paper will be bilingual in Hindi and English.
The written examination will be conducted only at Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. No travelling allowance will be paid to shortlisted candidates for appearing in the written examination.
Stage 3 – Skill Test
Candidates shortlisted after the written examination will be called for the skill test. The skill test will carry 60 marks and will assess proficiency in duties relevant to the Canteen Attendant post, including beverage preparation, basic food handling, preparation techniques, presentation, hygiene and cleanliness.
The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of the combined performance in the written examination and skill test. The final score will be calculated out of 100 marks.
The selected candidates will be appointed to Pay Level-1 in the Pay Matrix, ₹18,000–₹56,900, as per the applicable 7th Central Pay Commission provisions. The post is a General Central Service Group 'C' post.
